Retainer Policy

Thank you for considering Albert Street Tattoo for your next tattoo.

If you have submitted a consult form, your form is sent directly to your Artist. Our Artists do their best to respond within a week or two of your request.

If you have submitted a Waitlist form, it is also sent directly to your artist, although they will respond when they are ready to open their books. 

Each of our Artists is responsible for communicating with you (the client) and scheduling consults and appointments.


Your Artist will request a retainer (a deposit or booking fee)

when you accept an offered appointment date.

The retainer is non-refundable

and non-transferable.

If you are sick, we want you to stay home.

We expect our artists to do the same.

As much notice as possible is, of course, appreciated.

If you or your artist are sick, your retainer will apply to your rescheduled appointment.



  • You do not attend the scheduled appointment

  • You are more than 15 minutes late for the scheduled appointment

  • You reschedule with less than 7 days' notice 

  • You change the tattoo design without sufficient notice, aside from minor adjustments

a new retainer fee will be required.

Please discuss payment with your Artist before your appointment.

It is best to come prepared!
